Information about our services

What do we do?

We have two services on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. and a mid-week service at 10.30am on a Thursday.

Sunday 10.00 a.m.

This is a warm, vibrant service, with good music led by the Choir. The service attracts a good number of people, including a number of young families. It lasts about 75 minutes, with activities for children in our Junior Church group.

Sunday 5.30 p.m.

Most Sundays, a traditional Evensong based on the Book of Common Prayer is held. Occasionally a service of Holy Communion or special services are held. On occasions, we use meditative or modern liturgies.

Thursday 10.30 a.m.

A popular mid-week Communion service attracting c.20-25 people, followed by coffee in the Jordan Room.

We hold a weekly Coffee Shop on Thursdays at 11.00 a.m., where people join us for coffee and cake, a very informal social time. Various other social events, prayer groups and reading groups are held through-out the uear. Our choir a thriving ‘all-age’ choir, who sing in 4 part harmonies, known as an SATB choir.
