Church and Community
We are established for the advancement of the Christian faith and the promotion of the moral and spiritual welfare of the general public, and in particular to further the faith and mission of Jesus Christ and the way of life whose character is church community.
Sunday Church for Kids & Youth
As well as learning to play an instument or singing in the kids choir there is time to learn abou God through fun activities during our Sunday Kids church.
Education and learning
"Happy is the one who finds wisdom and gets understanding" (Proverbs 24: 13-14)
" Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12: 1-2)."
Wisdom is the gift of God and the Church is called to be a "School of Wisdom". According to St. Paul, Christians are called to cultivate a critical distance between themselves and the societies of which they are a part. At Berkswell, we encourage everyone to take responsibility for their Christian learning and education through disciplines of prayer, study, reading and conversation.
Berkswell is an extraordinary church with an extraordinary history. It has been soaked in prayer for over a thousand years and its stones tell the stories of those 'living stones' that have shaped the life and worship of the inhabitants of this community. It is my privilege to be called to serve here as parish priest and Rector.

Church doesn’t just happen on Sundays. In the Bible, the first church was commissioned to live in community, daily to worship, to share meals, to praise God together and to reach out to others. We live this mission each day here in Berkswell, in coffee shops and church pews and on soccer fields and street corners.
